Holly Brisley is an Australian actress and presenter with a career spanning over 25 years. Born in Adelaide, Australia to mum Deborah, a hairdresser and father Derrick, a bricklayer who both moved into property development. Holly and her family moved to the Gold Coast when she was a baby (along with her grandparents - also builders), in the hope of larger opportunities in the building industry. Holly's sister Kate was born on the Gold Coast and many extended family members slowly moved north for the warmer weather. Growing up Holly spent much time doing dance, drama, various school productions and theatre restaurants and received many awards. As a young teenager Holly, started working on various TV series and commercials and at 15 years of age she landed her first major role in a film titled Official Denial, opposite Parker Stevenson, Chad Everrett, Dirk Benedict & Erin Gray; followed quickly by another role as Texan school girl in a film called The Flood, both shot at Warner Bros Movie World on the Gold Coast. Since then Holly has worked on films including Scooby Doo, Garage Days, Sinbad and The Minatour. She also spent a number of years in the role of Amanda Vale, the resident vixen, on hugely popular and internationally acclaimed Television Soap, Home and Away. Simultaneously, Holly has enjoyed a successful career as a television presenter having hosted many national television programs including; The Looney Tunes show, Worlds Craziest Videos, Music programs for Foxtel & for 3 years Holly she worked in the role of reporter and host for Agro's Cartoon, Australia's number one children's program at the time. Holly's other work includes Escape with ET, Cheez TV, White Collar Blue, Beastmaster and Pizza (Series 1 & 3) and the iconic channel 7 hit All Saints. Holly won 'Best Actress' at the New York Independent Film Festival in May 2005, for her lead role in feature film, The Crop, she also played Heather Locklear's in the Hallmark Channel's Behind the Scenes of Dynasty that same year. In more recent years Holly is the producer of four full length feature films, in various stages of production. Holly lives in Sydney with her husband Paul and their two children, Levi and Willow.
