Milos Vojnovic movie list
Born in 1988 to journalist and anti-war activist Djordje Vojnovic and psychologist and children's rights activist Milica Velimirovic in Zrenjanin, SFRY (now Serbia), Milos Vojnovic spent his childhood attending theatre plays in local theatre, where he became a member of drama studio at an early age. He started developing as an artist in high school, earning several theatre awards, playing bass in a punk rock band, and producing movie shorts, while working as a child's rights activist and as part of the UN Secretary General's study on violence against children. During his studies, he was cast as the lead in one part of the Novi Sad Trilogy, directed by Aleksandar Davic. Having graduated from the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad in the class of 2012, mentored by director Nikita Milivojevic, his first professional work was in the Theatre of Sabac, working on Mikhail Bulgakov's Diaboliad as the lead. The success of this production lead to Milos being offered a contract by the theatre to perform regularly and, during the next ten years, Milos was part of over thirty in-house productions. His role in Shakespeare's Pericles earned him a national award for the best young actor. He has worked on dozen theatrical productions outside of his theatre, working in national and public theaters in Novi Sad, Belgrade, Zrenjanin, and Montenegro as well as several independent productions. Working with his spouse, Zeljka Cvejin, earned them an award for the best play for children. In 2016 he was cast for a supporting role in CW's show The Outpost and, two years later, as a recurring character in the same series, playing god Tera. For this role, he had full-face prosthetics which took four hours to apply each shooting day. This role lead to him being cast for several more television shows and short movies. While fluent in Serbian and English, he has a basic grasp of Russian and Spanish as well, which allowed him to attend workshops led by leading theatre and movie experts in the Balkans. He continues to develop as an artist and is a member of The International Acing Studio led by Adam Davenport.
