Edgar Damatian is an American TV/Film actor born in Hollywood, raised in Boston, MA. He now resides back in Los Angeles. His professional training includes a BFA in Acting, various scene study with casting directors and working industry professionals. He also gained experience in TV/Film work, as well as improvisation theater. He got his start working in commercials, eventually moving on to films known as "The Great War" & "Little Women". Edgar has worked with numerous star talent such as Saoirse Ronan, Frank Grillo, Mark Wahlberg, Louis Garrel, Ron Perlman, Vince Vaughn and more. Edgar explores a broad range of roles and characters, but frequently reads for the cute, smart but manipulative, brooding young guy with a secret life most likely. A bad boy and possible criminal. Totally charming and adorable but could turn on a dime. The kid who got kicked out of school but still is going to make something of himself if even in a questionable industry. His favorite roles/characters lend to his vulnerability, and ability to relate, which carry over into his personal life. Edgar also has honed in on his vocal instrument and is a strong tenor who can hit a high C note. Edgar loves soccer, and has been playing since he was 3 years old all the way to the collegiate level and overseas. Edgar also speaks reads and writes in Armenian fluently. He spent time in Armenia helping build gymnasiums for kids who lost their schools in recent wars. He also did humanitarian work with families who had lost their fathers due to serving in the wars. His early life he has explored his love for acting at small theaters, school plays and several small productions. Edgar also has a strong tech background and is extremely tech savvy with having a certificate in UX/UI design and being an Apple certified technician. Edgar's hobbies include fitness, singing, fashion, tech, musicals, concerts, snowboarding, swimming, bowling, the Boston Celtics, Tom Brady, camping, fishing, traveling, and being around friends and family. Edgar is extremely close to his big blended family; his mom, dad, sister, grandma, aunt, cousins, niece and his friends who he has been close with since diapers.
