Sebastian Croft is a BAFTA nominated actor of English and Greek descent, best known for his portrayal of the Young Ned Stark in Game of Thrones (2011). Most recently he has appeared with Ty Tennant as the Dead Boy Detectives (characters from Neil Gaiman's Sandman comics) in HBO Max's popular Doom Patrol (2019). He also starred alongside Archie Madekwe in Netflix's anthology series Love, Death & Robots (2019) and his episode Love, Death & Robots: Ice (2021) won the Emmy for outstanding short form animated program. Later this year he will appear as Peter van Daan in Where Is Anne Frank (2021) which premiered at Cannes Film Festival. Next year he will appear in Heartstopper (2022), Netflix's first LGBT show, based on the best selling graphic novels by Alice Oseman; and Dampyr (2022), a fantasy war film, based on the dark comic books of the same name. His BAFTA nomination came in 2019 for the lead role of Atti in Horrible Histories: The Movie - Rotten Romans (2019) He made his first professional appearance on stage age 7, in a touring production of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, having been spotted whilst training at Stagecoach in Oxfordshire. The following year he made his West End debut aged 8 in the Sam Mendes production of Oliver at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane. From here Sebastian had a series of stage roles, playing Gavroche in Les Misérables in 2011, along side Matt Lucas and Alfie Boe. For the next eighteen months he toured the UK in the title role of Oliver for Cameron Mackintosh, and then went on to join the Royal Shakespeare Company in the award winning West End production of Matilda. In 2014 his vocals were used during the Donmar Warehouse production of Coriolanus with Tom Hiddleston; and Sebastian's final musical theatre production as a juvenile was in the lead role of Adrian Mole at the Leicester Curve for the world premier of The Secret Diary of Adrian Mole The Musical. Sebastian's first screen appearance came in 2014 in the video to Michael Bublé and Idina Menzel's Baby It's Cold Outside, which reached number one in the US billboard charts. Sebastian then went on to film Season Three of Penny Dreadful (2014) for Sky Atlantic and Showtime; he appeared in Houdini and Doyle (2016) for ITV and Fox; Music, War and Love (2019), a feature film shot on location in Poland, alongside Stellan Skarsgård and Adelaide Clemens; and The Hippopotamus (2017) by Stephen Fry. He is best known for his appearance in Season Six of Game of Thrones (2011) playing the role of Young Ned Stark. In June 2016, Sebastian appeared in Sir Trevor Nunn's production of King John at the Rose Theatre in Kingston where he played Prince Arthur to critical acclaim. In 2017, Sebastian filmed Wonderwell (2022) alongside Carrie Fisher and Rita Ora. Alongside acting, Sebastian studies politics, philosophy and English Literature.
