Luke Snellin movie list

Luke Snellin was born in Romford, Essex. He studied screenwriting at Bournemouth University and has since written and directed work that has been broadcast on TV and cinema screens across the globe. He has been featured in Shots, The Telegraph and V Magazine among others and was named one of Screen International's 'Stars of Tomorrow' and one of Broadcast Magazine's 'Hot Shots'. His short films have been BAFTA nominated, won The Grand Prize in the Virgin Media Shorts Competition and played at Oscar qualifying film festivals in the US. He was selected as one of seven directors from nearly a thousand applicants to direct an episode of original drama for Channel 4 through the broadcasters the Coming Up (2003) format scheme. This led to him directing episodes of BAFTA and EMMY nominated My Mad Fat Diary (2013), Russell T Davies' Banana (2015) and Pete Bowker's The A Word (2016). Most recently he is the lead director on Netflix's Wanderlust (2018), written by Nick Payne and starring Toni Collette and also on Temple (2019), written by Mark O'Rowe and starring Mark Strong for Sky Atlantic. He also has the feature film adaptation of John Green, Lauren Myracle and Maureen Johnson's young adult novel Let It Snow in development with Netflix and Dylan Clark Productions and Fan Club in development with Fox 2000 and Temple Hill.
